In Vitro Maturation (IVM)

In Vitro Maturation (IVM)

Bliss IVF offers safe and effective in vitro maturation as an assisted reproduction procedure. The IVM treatment does not use hormones to create a large number of mature eggs during egg retrieval; rather, the women's oocytes are harvested immaturely and matured in the lab for 24 to 48 hours.

As opposed to traditional IVF, hormonal stimulation medicines or synthetic follicle-stimulating hormones are not administered before collection in this technique. Consequently, adverse effects, including ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) and prescription spending are reduced. Traditionally, IVF involves the fertilization of the mature eggs and transferring the fertilized eggs to the uterus after fertilization.

Typically, IVM treatment is considered for young women under the age of 40 who have an abundance of ovarian follicles. It is mainly used to treat polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and polycystic ovaries (PCO). Additionally, in some cases, IVM may be considered for women who consistently produce low-quality embryos or who are less responsive to hormone therapy.

Furthermore, women with signs of OHSS who are undergoing IVF stimulation may be advised to switch to IVM if their blood estrogen levels are extremely high. By changing treatment in the middle of the cycle, we try to break the cycle and protect the patient's health.

Our fertility experts at Bliss IVF provide world-class reproductive medicine with the goal of achieving a baby through the most appropriate ART procedure. We are one of the first ART centers in India to offer the best IVM treatment.

The Best IVM Centre in India does not require the patient to undergo monthly hormonal injections throughout their treatment in order to release mature eggs during egg retrieval; the eggs are retrieved while still immature from the recipient ovary during IVM Treatment. The matured eggs are then taken to a fertility facility. IVM Treatment in India does not require a woman to take a lot of hormonal medications.
